Description
What makes this recipe unusual isn't just that it contains rabbit — it's that it contains two distinct rabbit-family proteins. Domestic rabbit meat leads the ingredient list, followed later by wild hare meat: a subtly different protein with darker, slightly gamey muscle tissue that deepens the flavour profile in a way a single rabbit source doesn't. Most cats that have tried conventional proteins respond immediately to the combination, which tends to hold attention better than milder single-protein alternatives.
Rabbit is naturally one of the leanest animal proteins available, and the numbers reflect this: 3.5% crude fat makes this the leanest recipe in the ZIWI wet cat range. Despite that, calorie density sits at 1,100 kcal/kg — higher than the fat percentage would suggest — which makes it a practical choice for indoor cats, less active cats, or any cat where weight management is part of the feeding calculus without wanting to sacrifice protein quality. Five lamb organ cuts support the rabbit base: lung, liver, kidney, tripe, and heart, contributing CoQ10, natural digestive enzymes, and the organ-sourced micronutrients that muscle meat alone can't deliver. NZ Green Mussel provides whole-food glucosamine and chondroitin. Dried kelp adds natural iodine.

Feeding Guide
Serve at room temperature. Use as a complete diet or as a topper over dry food.
