There's a particular kind of cat bed that tries to do three jobs at once — sleeping spot, scratching surface, and something visually interesting enough to leave out in the living room — and most of them end up mediocre at all three. This one leans into the bakery-inspired shape on purpose: a thick, scalloped plush border that looks vaguely like a giant cookie, wrapped around a flat woven sisal centre that's actually built for scratching, not just decoration.

The sisal panel sits flush in the middle, tight enough that claws catch properly without snagging loose threads the way some cheaper synthetic mats do. Care Instructions

Sisal panel: No cleaning required under normal use. Natural fraying from scratching is expected and does not affect function — it's part of how sisal is meant to wear.

Plush rim: Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Allow to air dry fully before placing back in use.

General upkeep: Shake out loose litter or debris regularly, particularly if placed near a litter tray.
